Identify the base item
Determine whether the object is original, replica, retail, vintage, modern, game-used, stage-used, first edition or reproduction before adding any autograph premium.
Document the signature
Record signer, inscription, ink, placement, authentication company, certification number and provenance. Photograph the full item, close signature, certificates, labels and defects.
Separate claims
Autograph authentication does not automatically verify game use, stage use, screen use, edition, pressing, jersey model or other claims about the underlying object.
